Area 7 of The Handbell Musicians of America, Inc.

Area 7 is one of twelve geographic areas of The Handbell Musicians of America, Inc., serving 500+ members in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Manitoba, Canada.  We are dedicated to advancing the musical art of handbell and handchime ringing through education, community, and communication.

Capital Area Handbell Festival

The Capital Area Handbell Festival Conference, first organized in 1989, is held every year in November.  The event was established to fulfill a need to have a high-quality, annual local handbell ringing event in the Raleigh-Durham area.

The Raleigh Ringers

The Raleigh Ringers is an internationally acclaimed, advanced community handbell choir based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Since its founding in 1990, The Raleigh Ringers have been dazzling concert audiences with unique interpretations of sacred, secular and popular music, including famous rock 'n' roll tunes arranged just for handbells.

Rezound Handbell Ensemble

Rezound!® is an auditioned community handbell ensemble located in the greater Kansas City area.  Established in June 2001, the ensemble presents a lively sound blending the unique timbres of Schulmerich handbells, Petit & Fritsen bells, Malmark handchimes, and Whitechapel bells.
